Thank you for your interest in the Butterfly Station program! We are looking for motivated students interested in ecology and service learning for our summer program. Students in our program lead guided tours, maintain the gardens, educate others and, most important, raise butterflies for our butterfly house! It is an excellent opportunity for those who enjoy working outside and are interested and enthusiastic about ecology and teaching others. We have two summer sessions: Session 1 runs from July 9 – July 27, and Session 2 runs from July 23 – August 10. Both sessions will run Monday – Friday, from 9:30 am – 1:00 pm.
Space in the program may be limited. Please keep in mind that this is a three week commitment and make every effort to sign up for a session where the student can attend the entire time. Students interested in participating should complete and submit this entire form no later than April 25. We will notify students through email of their official acceptance and session time.
Only Guilderland Students with a Guilderland Schools Google account (see link below) will be able to apply online. All others will need to contact Beverly Bisnett-Jenks at Bisnettb@guilderlandschools.net or Carol Kelly at Kellyc@guilderlandschools.net.
