A local board of education is an agency of New York State governed by New York state law and the regulations of the commissioner of education. The Guilderland Central School District Board of Education has the power to develop policies, rules and regulations for the operation of our school system. There are nine residents who serve, without pay, on the district’s school board. On the third Tuesday in May, three members are elected on a rotating basis to a three-year term of office.

The Board of Education of the Guilderland Central School District, County of Albany, Guilderland, New York, will receive bids at the Administration Office, 8 School Road, Guilderland Center, New York 12085 on November 13, 2017 at 11 a.m. for SURPLUS BUSES AND EQUIPMENT at which time and place the bids will be opened and read aloud. The opaque envelopes clearly marked Bid-Surplus Buses and Equipment containing the bids must be sealed and addressed as follows: Board of Education, Guilderland Central School District, P.O.
